Kay Wills Wyma’s column, “A True Tale as old as time,” printed in today’s Times Record News (Tuesday, April 11, 2017) is an excellent and important piece that is truly worthy of passing along to adults, children and grandchildren alike. It is timeless—a “true tale” that would make C. S. Lewis, George MacDonald, and J. R. R. Tolkien proud. She is quite a gifted writer and apologist for Christianity and has captured the indirect style and use of the fairytale and myth as understood and appropriated by these brilliant writers before her and throughout the history of civilization. – L.
